Welsh fusilliers in Cleckheaton WW1

Was there a camp near Cleckheaton in WW1. two of my g/g uncles sons served in the 7th Royal Welsh fussilliers and married women from Cleckheaton.
They were John Rowlands (b 1889) Towyn, Merionethshire married Jane?
                 Jacob Rowlands (b c 1894) Towyn Merion. married Mary ?

John i think died in the war but Jacob made it home.

Any info on The 7th in Cleckheaton  or Rowlands gratefully received

Im actively researching a lot of lads from Cleckheaton in the Great War and have gone through countless local papers on microfiche 14-19 do you have any dates for weddings there may be something in the papers i can find ? Maybe the women had moved to an area in Wales (nurses or war workers??)

Ill check my database and get back to you.The drill hall in Cleck was 1/4th West Ridings Regiment nearest barracks either Bradford or Leeds.

i see John Rowlands enlisted in Cleck he died at Gallipoli in 1915 (6th sept.)
No 3462 LCpl 7th RWF.
He was a Territorial soldier so was Jacob by their service numbers.

Found him....With a little help from CWGC...Hunsworth is a little village on the outskirts of Cleckheaton hes listed on the East Bierley/Hunsworth WM you may have to register on the Yorkshire Indexers site to view the photos...He should get a mention in the Spen Guardian it covered that area i see his wife may have remarried as her name has changed on the CWGC entry.

Thank you Ady  . I really am flying blind on tracing my family. Unfortunately my father has little knowledge of the family history and he is now in the south and i am in the w/mids.
  I found both brothers by accident and found it strange that they had both married ladies form Cleck. Possible jacobs wife was a Mary Brooke married 1913 N. Bierley??  They were also 3 other Rowlands boys of the right age to have fought in ww1.
Towyn did have an army connection for many years but i'm not sure  how to go about looking into it

North Bierley would make sense for the registrations.Try posting any info on the Rowlands on the armed forces world war one  bit of this forum..am sure youd get favourable replies.

Ive found a column in my local paper about 4 Rowland brothers with Cleckheaton/Towyn links dated 1915.

My great-grandfather was a chap called Jacob Rowlands. He was a guard on the Talyllyn railway. He had a brother called John (or Jonathan )Rowlands, who drove engines on the same railway. If you look at the 1901 census for Tywyn, you'll find both their details. I think the website is peter-davies.org/census files/towyn 1901. The address for John Rowlands is 34 , Frankwell street, and his brother (I think, because rowlands is not a rare name in Tywyn), lived at railway view.
I'd therefore extrapolate that your Great uncle is my great-grandfather's brother
how are you related to John/Jonathan Rowlands ?

My g/g/grandfather was Francis Rowlands, younger brother to Jacob & John.
