Henry Payne in 1841

H0107 1115 1/33 6

Again in East Grinstead

No success with a marriage on either the Surrey or Sussex Indexes.  I think I need another look. they must be there.

Kerry

is this Henry to Tamar? i think on one census she gave her p.o.b as kent ???

Two census say she was born Horne in Surrey, which is not far from East Grinstead, taking her dob as 1816 they ought to have married about 1836 ish but I can't find anything.

Of course they may have married over the border in Kent, that's the trouble with the East Grinstead area, the three counties all meet there and make things impossible sometimes.

Their first son, William was born 1834 according to the 1841 census so it might be round about that time.

Very strange indeed.  I checked on the LDS site as well but nothing there unless I am missing something.
