CAN ANYONE HELP ME I HAVE TRACED BACK TO A BIRTH OF A JOHN BOWDEN PARENTS MICHAEL BOWDEN AND ELIZA MCCORMACK 1873 HAVE SEARCH BMD RECORDS AND CANT FIND A MARRIAGE FOR MICHAEL AND ELIZA SEARCHED BACK TO 1865 AS YOU KNOW THATS AS FAR BACK AS YOU CAN GO IN THE RECORDS OFFICE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began 1864 and other marriages from 1845. If John was born 1873 did he have any older siblings? (that will give you a better date to work back from. It's possible that the parents' marriage is indexed under another spelling and that's why you couldn't find it.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I didnt look for siblings but thanks will do that and i never even thought the surname could be spelt wrong so thanks again

Bowden could be down as Bowen & McCormack as McCormick, MacCormack, Cormack- possibilites are nearly endless.
