Born in Southend-on-Sea, moved to Ashingdon/Rochford, then Hockley, then Hullbridge.

After that, moved to Wernborn/Usingen in the Taunus region north of Frankfurt, Germany. Five years later, moved to Sitges/Barcelona. Two years later, moved back to Germany, this time Braunschweig (between Hannover and Berlin, roughly speaking!).

Didn't actually plan to move around Europe - it just kind of happened!

Who knows what the future may hold...

I'm from Hertfordshire, but since I married a Dutchman have moved every 3 years.  So first we moved to Holland, then back to England, back to Holland, on to the U.A.E, then Poland and now back in Holland   Where we go to next is anyones guess!!

Hi Gjill,

What we do know for certain is that we will move back to England in 9 years time (lucky for us hubby gets to retire when he is 51!) it's just what's in between is unknown
