Although I'm British, I've lived in the United Arab Emirates for the last 25 years.  Thank goodness for the Internet and helpful sites like this - otherwise I'd be throroughly fustrated at not being within reach of any Records Offices!  Keep up the good work!

I'm from Coventry in Warwickshire where most my family on both sides seemed to have come to in the late 1800, probably for work.
