Can't read my cert.
« on: Saturday 22 March 08 21:08 GMT (UK) »
Here is a portion of a death cert. I want to know the cause of death. The first word begins with C, the second with D and then it says 2 years certified. I can read all the rest so can you geniuses help? ::) Sorry but my pc is running very slowly and I couldn't send the image. I will try again.

Probably some sort of 'women's trouble'  :-[

This explains it in more detail:

Try some of these sites for old medical terms:

What year was this ?
Post menopausal decay seems a very vague term so my guess is that it was early to mid 1800's.
