John Kemp look up please

I need help to find birth John Kemp, what I know about him-

He was married to Sarah Waite in Bermondsey in 1838

He arrived in Australia in 1849 on the Marion

He died in Nhill, Victoria in 1894 aged 80, birth place given as Nottingham Shire.
Parents Josiah KEMP and Hannah JONES.

Hi Nola,
Strangely I couldn't find John's birth on the Notts. Baptism CD, but I found what I hope is his birth on familysearch.org:
John Kemp baptised 10 Nov 1813 Widmerpool, Notts.
Father: Josiah  Mother: Hannah
Batch number: C054221
There was a baptism for Elizabeth Kemp (parents Josiah and Hannah) at Hickling on the Notts. Baptism CD - she was born at Hickling 23 July 1800.
Hickling is 4 miles from Widmerpool.
(haven't been able to track down parent's marriage as yet on either familysearch.org or marriage CD.)

Thanks for that but I have that info- that Hannah's surname seems to be Belton so I can't confirm whether or how my John is connected.

Don't know if you have this information or not, but thought it might help:
No birth for Josiah kemp in Notts.
and only Hannah Jones (nottingham St.Mary) was born in 1751 - so would be too old in 1814.
As I said I can't find marriage.
All this is from Notts. CD Rom - which all of us looking at Notts. use.

Nola, Afterthought:
There are about eight people researching Kemp's listed on the members' interest list for the Notts Family History Society who are researching Kemp in different places in Notts. Whether one of those might have information to link in with your family I can't say.
