Hi all, could anyone tell me anything about:

THOMAS NATHAN SHARMAN (he has also appeared in the census as NATHAN SHERMAN and THOMAS SHERMAN), b. Pettaugh c1784, d.1866, buried at Earl Stonham. 

Also anything in the parish records for:
CHARLES SHARMAN/SHERMAN b.1807
ELIZA b. c1813
SHADRACH b.1827
DAVID b.1821
HANNAH b. c1831
All born in Pettaugh.

I checked the Pettaugh Baptismal register 1753 – 1840 but could only find the following baptisms.  I also checked Framsden for Eliza, Shadrach & Hannah without success.

I could not find a marriage for Samuel & Elizabeth, but I did find a marriage for Thomas Nathan.  I could not find marriages for anyone else on your list at Pettaugh.

1804 - 31 Jan - Thomas Nathan SHARMAN to Susanna EDWARDS by banns - both single and of the parish of Pettaugh.

Just in case you were interested, having spent time looking these people up for me, there's a chance that Shadrach and the others could have been baptised at Gosbeck, Helmingham or Earl Stonham as the family seemed to be based around those parts.

I thought as I was going through the films that the family seemed to drift in and out of the village.

Helmingham Parish Record Lookups are available from the Suffolk Surname List, so it might be worth contacting the volunteer.
