Hi, .....don't yet know who the parents are?
I did some more digging today and found a little more info.

I think George was born abt 1792 in Auchterderran, FIFE and died possibly in Abbotshall, FIFE but date unknown.
His wife Mary also born in Auchterderran about 1796.

Sorry to jump in on this one - I have been trying to find out about my great great great grandmother Margaret Burt (or possibly Burke). She is variously listed as Burt or Burke and Margaret or Janet!  I have prevously posted so rather than type out it all again, can I point you to my posting? Thanks for any help.

UPDATE -  I have found from a death record that she was definitely Margaret Burt daughter of John Burt and Elizabeth ms Chalmers.
