Monaghan Marriage- COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 20 March 08 15:49 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone point me to an online search facility for Co. Monaghan marriages?  Looking for the marriage of Samuel Bailey(Baillie) to Mary Rudden round about 1890.  Mary was from Muckno Parish.  Rosemary Joan
Cully, Bannister, McConnell, Wallace (Co. Armagh)  Anderson, Ross (Co. Antrim), Gray, Truesdale (Co. Down)
McCormick (Killyleagh and finally Belfast)

I have a copy of that marriage certificate.

I am a direct descendent of Samuel Baillie and Minnie. Will try to contact you via PM and email when I find out how it works here.

[I have joined rootschat specifically to answer you questions about the Baillie family in Castleblayney and the offspring that emigrated to the USA in the 1920's]

My aunt Margaret Bannister married William Gerald Baillie , son of Minnie and Samuel.  I have done as much research as I can and am in touch with their descendants in Belfast and in USA ( you COULD be one of them!).  I think you will find that you have to have posted three messages before you can send a PM.  I now have the marriage certificate, but can't find out any more about Minnie.  I am doing this research for the Belfast branch of the family.  Rosemary
