Quinlan. St Pancras
« on: Wednesday 19 March 08 17:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi there

Can anybody tell me where I could find birth records of Mary Ann Quinlan. b1834 St Pancras. Her parents were James and Margaret.

I have looked on Family Search but no luck. She married at St Pancras Old Church so I am guessing she was christened at the same church.

Many thanks for any info

Jean

Hi Jean,

As she was born before registration (1837) there is no birth certificate only parish records, I have looked on the IGI but cannot see her.

The only other way   is to look through the parish records of St. Pancras Old church which are at the Metropolitan Archives in London. and you don't know for certain she was christened there.

Hi Patrish
Thank you for your reply.
I thought this would be the answer but was not sure where records were held.

Jean

I have other Saint Pancras look-ups on my list so I'll add you in and see what I can find.

Hi Dawn

Thanks very much for the offer.
Mary Ann's parents, James and Margaret were both born in Ireland but I don't know if they married there. On the 1841 census, the family were living in Middlesex Street St Pancras.
Regards
Jean
