William Douglas & Jane Thomson

I am searching for relatives of William Douglas & Jane Thomson who were married Oct 2, 1903 at the Bancar Hotel, Lonmay.

William Douglas (parents William Douglas & Margaret Waldie) was born Aug 25, 1882 Crailing, Roxburgh. Jane Thomson (parents Andrew Thomson & Janet Skinner) was born Sept 30, 1879 Strichen, Aberdeenshire and died in 1961 Lilliesleaf, Roxburgh.

Believe they had at least 3 sons William, Daniel, James.

Jane Thomson is my grandfathers sister.

Hi, I am a great granddaughter of William Douglas and Jane Thomson.

They did indeed have 3 sons - William (my grandfather), Andrew (Dan) & James (Jim).

My grandfather married Ellen Kerr in 1933 and they had one son, William (Bill), my father.  My parents married in December 1956 and have 5 children William (known as Graham), Lorraine (myself), Neil, Pauline (middle name Jane, after Jane Thomson) and Andy.

It has been so long since I made this posting thanks for replying. I have been researching the Thomson Family for about 10 years. My grandfather Andrew Thomson who is your great grandmother Jane's brother immigrated to Canada in 1910, where I presently live. 
My Grandfather Andrew Thomson (1870-1930) married Isabella Ritchie of Longside, Aberdeenshire (1872-1947) Andrew immigrated first in 1909 and my grandmother Isabella followed in 1910 with my Aunt Mary (1899-1973) & my Father Andrew (1900-1987).

Andrew Thomson & Jane Skinner had a family of 7 children:
Andrew: My Grandfather Immigrated to Canada
Robert: Possibly immigrated to Canada (married a Mary Forbes)
John: Stayed in Scotland (married Christina Mackie & Elsie Massie Bean) Have been in contact with his grandson Colin Campbell who lives in New Zealand.
Jane: Your Great Grandmother (married William Douglas)
Alex : not sure about
Helen Ann: Immigrated to Canada (married Alec Hendry)
David: Immigrated to Canada Died in 1918 Flu Epidemic

Hi Lorraine
Was wondering do you know what year Andrew (Dan) & James (Jim) were born? Did they marry and have children as well?
Would you happen to have a picture of Jane Douglas (Thomson) be interesting to see what she looked like and if there is any resemblance to my Grandfather Andrew?
