Dear Julianne

Could you please look for a John Fisher who died in James Street, Wallacetown in 1859.  He was buried in Wallacetown cemetery, but may not have a gravestone.

Thank you loads.
Janice

Hello Julie,

I know this is an old post, but are you still able to do look-up's in Ayr MI?  Particularly for the Milligan (also spelled Milliken/Millikin) & McConnel family.  Alexander Milligan (wife Margaret Sloan) and Alexander Milligan (1st wife Hannah or Frances McConnel, 2nd wife Elizabeth Wallace).  I have been told they were burried in Ayr Auld Kirk.  I'm also looking for Arthur McConnel & Agnes Woods, the parents of Hannah.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bryan

Hi Bryan

These are the only Millikens in Ayr Auld Kirk:

Erected by David Morton in memory of Margaret Milliken his wife d 16 oct 1842 aged 36. And of James Milliken his father in law, late land surveyer Ayr d at Content Cottage, Wallacetown 18 oct 1845 aged 60.

(On top '5 Graves') The burial place of Alex Millikan, cooper.

No Milligans in that churchyard.

None of your McConnels in that one either.

I will check the rest of the books sometime this week.
