Alex Millikan would be my ancestor.  He and his son, Alex, were cooper's in Ayr.  Alex Milligan III immigrated to Canada and started my branch of the family.  Are the other names/dates on his stone available?

A bit late, but just found that some of my cousin's family gradually worked back to Ayr.

John McTaggart b.1789 Kirkoswald & his wife Janet Goudie b.1795 Kirkmichael, last seen 51 Mill St. Ayr.
Alexander Dunlop b. 1825 Ayr & wife Janet McTaggart b. 1825 Ayr, last seen 51 Harbour St.Ayr.

Nothing after 1851, may have moved by 1861.

Many thanks Julieann, unfortunately none are my McBrides.  The particular one is Hugh Alexander McBride died August 1888 and his wife Agnes Whyte/White McBride died may 1875.  But many thanks for looking.
