And a second post, yes, I live in Auckland but Mum lives in Fielding and I hope to pop down to visit her in 2 or 3 weeks

Breadalbane was a Campbell earldom but not solely populated by Campbell's. There were MacMartin Cameron's in Rannoch at Cumuserracht. Some MacSorley Cameron's settled at Barcaldine in Queensland. A useful book on this stuff is "Bygone Lochaber" by Somerled Macmillan 1971.
