HOOPER- post 1940

William John Austin Hooper was born in Bathurst NSW in 1901.

William is my current brick wall ( and has been for some time) Family lore tells that he moved to NZ sometime after the Second world war, never to be seen or heard from again.

Looking for any information on his death or his movement to NZ post 1940.

Was he married, come with any family

There is a William John Hooper d 1974 aged 74 at Mt Wesley Dargaville

Archives have a few William John Hoopers, but no Austin to make id easier :0
