I have done extensive research into the Brasier/Braziers of the parish of Swanscombe. Mr earliest ancestor is Thomas Brasier who married Sarah Hills on 30 Nov 1721 in Swanscombe Parish Church.

Some of my other lines are the Chappel and Legates of neighbouring Dartford back to the late 1600s.

Hi Big Ted

I am still trying to trace the parents of my Harriet BRAZIER who married George DURLING.  There is a BRAZIER child born to William and Sarah BRAZIER in 1785 in Swanscombe.  The register is so badly damaged at this point, but I believe that the child was a daughter.  This might be might Harriet.  Have you managed to look at the BTs for this timeframe?

The previous weblink in the post above has nothing to do with parish registers.

The previous weblink in the post above has nothing to do with parish registers.

Thats what happens when you allow daughter on your laptop, open multiple windows and end up copying the wrong link :)

Have now changed to the correct link

I have a daughter like that Big Ted!  I have looked through the online registers from Cityark many times.  What I need are the BTs to check for Harriet.  I have been told there are gaps though, so it doesn't bode well for my Harriet BRAZIER.  Harriet married George DURLING and died aged 91.  She outlived many of her children, although her daughter Sarah DURLING, who was my ancestor, died also aged 91!

Here is the page for what I think is my Harriet BRAZIER from the Swanscombe register:

If you look at 8th August 1785 I think that might be Harriet BRAZIER
