« on: Wednesday 12 January 05 14:34 GMT (UK) »
Hi, l know this is a long shot but l wonder if someone would be kind enough to look up the following?.

Benjamin COOK born c1788 He was a hosier/shoemaker in the Butter market area of BSE, there is an entry for a Benjamin Cook in the 1844 Whires directory for Suffolk but that is all l know other than he was married.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Regards

Robert

There are no Benjamin Cooks of great age. The nearest are two Benjamins both in their forties and born in Lowestoft.

I know of a Benjamin Cook who married Elizabeth Perkins and lived in Bury St Edmunds in 19th century ( died around 1872 ). They had two daughters who married two brothers of the Ridley family. Let me know if you want more info.
