Hi
Looking at the familysearch.org site I see the only records on it for her are member submitted so you would have to check them carefully.  Have you tried getting the film of the parish record to search at your nearest LDS history centre?   They are worldwide and listed on familysearch.
Do you have her marriage certificate?    That should give her father's name with luck.   Do you have any idea when she went to New Zealand?   That is assuming the IGI info is correct!    Finding who she travelled with may help a lot.
Have you looked at the 1841 census for the Broomfield area to see what Harris families there are?

thank you Angela and Beverley. Yes, the Eleanor harris I am looking for is married to George Pilcher. I was hoping I could find a little more information on her birth or her parents. I appreciate your time and help in this matter. I do not have her marriage certificATE but I have checked it on the BDM offices when I was there in New Zealand.  I checked the 1842 census but to no avail.  :(

Was her father's name given on the marriage certificate you checked??    A very useful clue.

Hi, no sign of her marriage details but I am waiting for replies from Genes Reunited to see if they came up with her parent's details.

Here the website of Harris, Broomfield/Chelmsford which it may be useful for you.

If you can find her death in NZ it should name her father and also her mother's maiden name.
And I would be most interested in learning where she fits in with the Broomfield Harris lot.

You will only get the parents names after 1880 I think, plus also only if the informant knew who the parents were as well.
