1750s-60s Yateley marriage: William WATTS

Hi,

I know that William WATTS married Martha Lock in Yateley on 27 Sep 1771 but he was a widower.

I've tried to find any possible previous marriages for him but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone fine any possible Yateley marriages?

ok this is an old thread and answers have probably be sorted but the only other William I could find is....

I have a copy of the Yateley Parish Records!

But could only find the William stated above as anything prior to 1771 - that marriage is also listed.

It would not be uncommon for an elderly widower to re-marry a younger lady.

One of my male relations married at 58 to a girl of 22 becuase he wanted someone to take care of him - they even had children!!!
