No it doesn't ~ I'm coming to the conclusion I haven't got very good software compared to what you have perhaps I should get something else?

I'm wondering if it wasn't installed when you installed Word. Were you short of space and only selected the 'normal' installation or did you select All?

It might be on the Word disks and just needs installing. Otherwise, it would be best to put the borders around in your PSP package and then insert the resulting files into the Word Doc.

Microsoft Works Word XP x

Shirley, I think Works Word is  different to Office Word, which is what I'm using - so I'm afraid I don't know how to find your drawing toolbar, if there is one.

You may have to put the borders on in a graphics program after all.

Sorry I have not been able to help.

Adding borders in PaintShopPro:

open your file

Then select Image from the top Menu Bar

You will then get an Add borders dialogue. Select your line thickness

Also, before you do this, make sure that the canvas colour is the same as the colour that you want for your border - bottom one on this image

I think my computer froze I wasn't getting any notification ~ I didn't know I had all these messages ~ thank you Sula I appreciate very much what you have been posting.  Word was already installed on my harddrive when I bought the computer.

I will follow the instructions for Graphics now ~ I only bought PSP for my Grandchildren to use, but they haven't been since I installed it, so I don't hold much hope of me being able to do it on that if I can't do it on Word.

Thanks ever so much for the time and trouble you have taken both Sula and Gadget.

Best wishes Shirley
