Thats a whole lot of info about the Palmer's, why cant the Phillips be like that.  ::)

I have already considered the fact that perhaps Susan Palmer had been married before but used her maiden name on the births as they were not married but given her age on the 71  census, she is a little older on the 81 I think this unlikely and I have looked for another marriage but how could I tell if I found one.

here's some more ....

not sure if our people ...but rather have the info than not ;

Information relating to document ref. no. MS 11936/485/980038
Insured: Philip Phillips 53 Whitechapel Road dealer in marine stores
Date: 1821

this is the same road as John Palmer's cheesemonger...he was at 57 whitechapel Rd.

This is Nathan Phillips' will ...I know Pat said that she doesn't have connections with Solomon  Phillips s/o Nathan ..but you never know ...maybe the will would give clues as to who belongs to who ... Amended ... It's not his will arrghhh

Information relating to document ref. no. MS 11936/464/899994
Insured: Nathan Phillips, 49 Petticoat Lane, dealer in clothes Other property or occupiers: butcher
Date: 1814.

I think Petticoat lane was next to Swans Court on the censuses.

ooo ...could this be Catherine Phillips ... remember 1841 Brambletye found a Caroline that could be Catherine ...mother of Emmanuel ... look at occupation...

Information relating to document ref. no. MS 11936/512/1074975
Insured: Caroline Phillips 31 Upper King Street Bloomsbury dealer in tobacco and snuff
Date: 1828.
