This looks interesting, a poss. for Susan Palmer on the 1841:

HO107/710/11/31/14

Susan Palmer 15 FS b. in county
living Tilley Street Spitalfields Tower Hamlets
in household of Israel Frankford age 25, Segar Maker [sic]
and his wife Rosetta age 25 - children Isiah 5, Morriss 3, Isaac 1 - all b. in county

I'll have a go for her parents now...

p.s. Oh Toni, brilliant! I hadn't thought of Immanuel...

Hi Folks,

Quote
all kids except Philip born City of London

Another mis lead  there  ::) birth cert of Phillip 1854 Whitechapel , Spitalfields Middx.

Jacob b 1859 East London, St Boltops. County of London, which I suppose is city of London on reflection.

There is no sign of even a second for Emmanuel on any census, death cert or his Interment notice.  ???

Had a look again on 1841 and found HO107/725/1/12/18
St Botolph Aldersgate, George Court

Abrm. Phillips 42 G Dealer
wife Anna 40
children (or others...?)
Henry 22, Emanuel 17, Michael 14, Woolf 10, Sarah 6, Rosetta 5, Elizabeth 2, Priscilla 1.

If I remember rightly, it's prob. this Michael who m. Abigail Martin? where the name Emmanuel had been crossed out and his put instead?

Just wondering if we're certain that this Emanuel age 17 is  son of Abraham, as the 1841 gives no relationships - maybe a nephew, farmed out to other family by his mother, to learn a trade?

Yes that  correct Brambletye, the marriage cert gives father as Abraham, also it was signed Michael Phillips by the official  not  X  witnesses D.Levy and Moses Levy.

I only wish this was him, this couple were married  according to the rites of the German/Polish Jews.
