hello

St Mary, Stone and churches in Dartford are on cityark website (!!)
I have looked at St Mary Stone but the burial register stops before this time.
I have looked at Dartford, Holy Trinity but i can't find him using the date given. There are people buried here from Stone asylum and City of london workhouse. ( a new cemetry - an extension was opened in 1856).
Other entries of other churches not available in correct time frame.

sorry Its not of more help

Jane

Hi jane
Many thanks for that. Perhaps if I get the patient records from the LMA it will tell me.
Thanks again

Hi Cas21

There are inmates of the Stone Lunatic Asylum buried at East Hill/Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford (the local borough cemetery) but I couldn't see your man on the following page

Hi Cas21

Have you tried this site.  It covers quite a few institutions, not just workhouses.  Worth a try.  Good look finding him.
