hi
got a jane wilson died in 1857 in lochmaben parents thomas wilson ann richardson
on her death cert if reading  right says lochmaben cem
i rang the council.... lady there very helpful said she would look for me and  said she ring bk but this is a week ago
is there any other way apart from visiting the cem i could find out about her grave? i am trying to get up to scotland this year sometime as i live in wales

Hi Mandy,

You may wish to consider contacting the Dumfries and Galloway Family History Centre in Dumfries.  They may have a researched the cemetery you are interested in.

I would ahve popped round to the cemetery had I still lived in the area, but have since moved to Wiltshire.

Best of luck in your searches though,

Cormack & McBain in Ross and Cromerty and Banffshire/Aberdeenshire pre 20th century

McClelland, MacNeill (Argyll, Scotland and Northern Ireland), MacCully, Carson, Northern Ireland
