Looks like my family, I believe three brothers went to Amerrica via Canada one being killed riding the trains, at present i don't know which side of the border as i was told thanks again Rossee

Ireland in maps, Harkin name in co. Donegal particulary in Inishowen often apears in the Hearth money rolls.  Could not find McCallion on the maps.

                   McCallion is not an easy one. I found it on the Flax List but nothing earlier. I have not looked up Ireland on maps.

The name McCallion is a variant of the Scottish name Campbell see www.libraryireland.com for a more indepth explination.

According to my cousin the Harkins from  Mindoran are my granddads cousins not to sure which ones yet though , any help anyone .

Looking at the 1911 census  for  Michael Harkin aged 18 I have found one that would match his age, as living with his uncle Hugh Harkin in Moneydarragh,Gleneel Also possible his sister Anne aged 16 just wondering have i the correct one
