Thanks Dathai, this is much appreciated family history replies have stopped for a while, so good to get some replies now.
I hadn't realised that Charles Haughton Wilson my mother's father was in Moville for the 1901 census.

Strange how this reply has appeared when I am arranging my Mum's funeral, she would have loved to find out about Charles and Elizabeth Haughton, my Mum's grandparents who lived in her family home, Coromahon House.

this should put the icing on the cake for you. National Archives Ireland ,Calendar of wills and administrations 1858 to 1922, search under both HOughton and HAughton and you will find both Charles and Elizabeth with the dates on the headstone. i think proving beyond doubt that they are your ancestors. oops  sorry AGHADOWEY dont know how to make the link to the above site.

Hi Dathai,

Thanks for the information, I see from the site that this information was only released to the public a few days ago, the site has some great information.
Charles and Elizabeth (nee Arnold) are definitely my great great grandparents, my Mum May would have been delighted if she had still been here, but sadly passed away about 10 days ago on May Day.

Thanks again for providing this information!
