Hi genefinder

The NSW parish records (pre civil registration) are available on microfilm at most state libraries and lots of other places around NSW. I had a few problems finding specific records (microfilms sometimes give me grief) but they are there. The code you have for the baptism V18312293 125 helps to find it on the film. THis will be explained if you visit one of the centres to look at the records.

Details of the locations in NSW for ARK(includes the early parish records) are here
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/archives/access_to_the_records_2826.asp#ArchivesResourcesKit

Hopefully the register may show the place where the child was born/lived, as well as where baptised.

Hi Ian

Welcome from me as well - RC is a great place for researching Family history
