deb

The only Sarah on for that quarter and place is Sarah ADAMS .... but everyone thinks he married Sarah DAVIS  :-\

Hi Debs
I already told you about someone posting on ancestry related to this family and yes they say Sarah Davis but personally as no one has actually proved it I would be tempted to think this is a good likely could be the couple if you have a Sarah Adams  might be that is her

ummmm

if sarah was bc 1823 Gloucestershire , then she would only be 14 when marrying ... although I think Matilda/louisa posted that could have happened .

I have been going through IGI

there is this ..
Sarah Adams
7 sept 1823 Winterbourne, Glos
Parents; William and mary
(a submitted entry gives William Adams = mary Adams in Winterbourne 1820, they had quite a few children ))

I also found this earlier ...Was looking for Davis stuff...

I know it's a long time before our Davis but the name looks like a family one

Vashte Davis
9 jan 1729 Bisley, Glos
father Wm Davis

and this one ;
Vashti Sarah Davis = Thomas Smith
11 oct 1882, Chippenham

Travellers = Penfold, Orchard, James
Devon = Middleton,  Waterfield, Adams, Clark/e, Gould
Cornwall = Palmer, Carnarton, Slack/Smith. Morris/h
Wales, New Quay = James, Evans
