i can only find them on 71 cencus as jones but all the known children are right on it.find them again in 81 and 91 as hughes.there history as is some of the birch is on romanygenes blank page if your interested.photos of birches alkso there.hughes under somerset/doset romanies.cathay and joes romany exhibition is me and my husband.all the birch in the photos are my family.love cathay

Thanks Cathay .. I have seen it ..great site ...just wish I had some more photo's of my Penfolds and Orchards ... :-\

I will try to chase the Hughes backwards ..maybe his parents might be with him at some stage ...you never know ....

     noah Hughes or rower hughes as transcribed in 1871 with Edwin and Sophie Orchard nee Hughes also roberts and Sarahs daughter. RG10; Piece: 2167; Folio: 70; Page: 11 which is why he isnt with them in 1871
