we thought sarah was older than robert i cant remeber why at the moment.i keep paper records as my computers are always breaking down and i lose all my records if they are on the old computers.it takes me ages to wade through bits and pieces especially if i havent filed them yet.

             I think there was a good possiblity that John penfold born 1809 was son of John and Charlotte looked at there other children and none that i know of married a hughes

i rember now.we think there was maybe more children than we have found.i dont remeber which children we found that might be theirs but if robert was say 20 when he married then he may have started having kids around 1838.oh i wish i could find those notes.

i know ive read somewher (cant think where at mo) that they offten married as young as 12 /14 so thats very poss thats theres more kids.

right i have found something.a marriage doc for charlotte hughes in 1856.her father was james hews.its in devon luppitt.i wonder if james could be a brother of robert and possibly eli?she married an orchard by the way.

yes and i think the witness there was robert hughes!!!i think james may have been roberts dad roberts brother as in the 1861 cencus he looks to have been born somewhere between 1796/1806
