hi
 i have a Joseph Docker married to jane i think she was Hathaway in 1861 census i wonder if there is any way of finding who her parents were. also if anybody can find them after that as i have failed, unless they went abroad. They lived in wolverehampton

Hi Mary,

In 1871 their daughter Ellen is in service at Wolverhampton but I can't see either Joseph or Jane.

they were married in 1861 in wolverhampton
but on the 1861 census they have a child ellen age 4
so was jane married before or was ellen the daughter of jane and mr hathaway or jane and joseph docker.

there is no birth regd. under the name of ellen docker between 1855-1859 in staffs.
there is a birth regd. under the name of ellen hathaway in 1856 in walsall

just found a death also at walsall in 1856 of a ellen hathaway
so quet possible that was the ellen whose birth is posted above.

There's a possible death for Joseph in Mar 1864 Wolverhampton.

Also a possible marriage for Jane Docker to William Bloor or John Aldridge in 1867.

I think I can see her in 1871 but the husband is called William* Aldridge  :P

*he's John in 1881
