many thanks...had a quick look but I must be doing something wrong...didnt find what you found. Having another look now.

go to the familysearch homepage
at the top of that page you will see 4 squares inserted into them are various options they are
home,search,share,library
click on the search one
it should then take you to another page where it says search for ancestors-all resources
on the left hand side you should see a menu
amongst the options in this menu is international geneological index
click on that and away you go.
