Hi Carol

Yes the safest way to swap emails is by PM, the Mods will delete them from the public boards.  If you click on any name such as kerryb where it is highlighted in blue beside any of messages it will take you to a page about me, you then pick send this rootschatter a personal message, its towards the bottom of the page.

Thanks for that. If you would like me to keep you informed about findings just let me know. If you have excel I could send you information that way.

I shall be spending the afternoon trying to sort out all the emails I have received in the past week to try and add a bit of order to latest finds.

I'll be back. If you have anything about any of the Hickmans from Chiddingly, Heathfield, Lewes, Hellingly that might be relevant, feel free to send it.

Aah so your Gander/Paine yes.

James Hickmans' parents could be either
Richard and Ann (Thomas) Hickman
or
William & Mary (Baker) Hickmore

We are still trying to discover as much as possible about the families to try and decide who is who.

It would appear that the Hickmans may have started in Waldron then moved to Heathfield and then some on to Chiddingly.
