During my one-name study research I have discovered a lot of Fairbrass in New Zealand. I have managed to piece quite a few families together but still have many births and marriages that I cannot link. Can anybody help with this? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Althea, Hi Lu - a good idea. I had previously used a researcher to provide BMD info. Of course it was not detailed and though I managed to fit in the Fairbrass that come from the Edward Hancock Fairbrass line in UK. I list names who I have not yet fitted in - hopefully they are your connection Lu.

Hi Lu, Many thanks for your help. I was aware of the Fairbrass website and extracted info. In conversation they were reluctant to give further info as they had paid to get it. [I had actually provided freely to the researcher some of the info that was then passsed on to them. Subsequently I paid the same researcher to get me info on the bmd indices. I still have births 1848-1900, 1991-1997 marriages 1991-1997 and deaths 1848-1864, 1901-1997 to do. But of course there appeared not to be a lot of detail and certificates were required. So interesting that info you have provided from the marriage index has spouses name. From your info I can piece together some more people but not yet able to connect Bernard Edgar or Maurice Edward. I also wonder if Laurence EDward could be brother to Thora & Olga.
