Hi and welcome to roots

Can you tell us where Vira was actually born, as I would hope she may be on the 1901 census, and there is a few with same name.

Any more information would be great

Hiya Jane thanks so much for the reply, unfortunatly i havent got a clue where she was born, all i have is what i've posted which isnt much at all.I have looked at 1901 and 1891 census but none of them seem to fit, apparantly she had a sister and some brothers but there seems to have been some split in the family as no one seems to know anything at all, even viras daughter in law, which i found surprising but apparantly she never mentioned her family.
Sorry  i havent got anything else.
Warmes wishes

Hmmm a puzzle, you say married in Ashford, is that the one in Kent??  Do you have the marriage certificate, it may give a clue with the witnesses of the marriage maybe a brother or sister  ;D  well you can hope eh!!!  Maybe you could a wild card and look for them without using the surname, I will keep looking - maybe tomorrow before I can post again
