Hi Docherty,

Married into my family was Mary Ann Docherty born 1859 in Old Monkland daughter of Edward and Jane Docherty (Bell).  She married George Bell in 1885 in Old Monkland.  After George's death in 1890 she married Thomas Wallace in 1893 in Glasgow.

Any connection?
