My apologies Cando for not replying to the other request......first time back to check the replies today so will just send my reply here.

Some info of him we have is:
John Joseph Knevett born Kooringa, South Australia on 8 April 1853 to Joseph Knevett and Mary Mealy.
We have him listed as deceased a few months later but cannot find the referenced for him.
A chance find on the Internet by my mother found him listed in the 1901 Electoral Roll (according to Ancestry.com) at Cloncurry.
His brother (who is our direct ancestor) we know moved to Queensland around the same time, so we know think that the two of them moved from South Australia to Queensland.
