Going by the index on ancestry it still seems to be Killearnan, parish no.68, county Ross and Cromarty    Roll 15

Who are you looking for?

Donald (Don'd) Fraser married Mary McIntosh  Registered in Hillkirk OPR 1850
The entry gives Mary's parish as being Killearnan, Red Castle (Which is now Redcastle)
I went into FreeCEN Killearnan Census 1941 to try and find her parents
I found one Mary McIntosh ,a female servant aged 18which means she would be 27 when she married in 1850
However when I tried to access the 1851 ii was advised that this parish did not exist for the purposes of a census
I have failed to find either Wm's or Mary's parents in the inverness area
Any help would be great

FreeCen is still "work in progress" and Killearnan is not completed yet, so is not online. The full 1851 census for Scotland can be found on line at ScotlandsPeople or Ancestry (and elsewhere?).

I have failed to find either Wm's or Mary's parents in the inverness area

Do you mean Donald & Mary's parents?  If you have the marriage cert can you give their parents' names?

Sorry Barbara
It's old age, Wm. was their son   Yes I meant Donald Fraser's parents  and Mary McIntosh's parents  As the marriage was registered in the old Parish records it does not mention the parents. Subsequent searches through the local district censuses has failed to find any ref. to their families prior to the marriage
Thanks ADP for advising that the census is not on line yet
Thanks for taking the time to worry about it   Dof

Do you have any idea of names of any siblings that might be found with the parents perhaps?
