Is there a room there for slow typing newcomers to say hi and practice answering quickly I found by the time I'd typed Thank you for the warm welcome the conversation had moved on several topics and I was just floundering so left .
Trees

This is exactly how I felt;  I went in there first - on my first day - and it scared me to death - I thought no, this isn't going to work   :-\   Like Trees said, I was floundering after a couple of minutes   :'(.  I've been following this thread with interest - I never went back in the chatroom - maybe I'll pluck up the courage one day - but the memory is still quite vivid  :o

There was a slow typers room for a while.  If you pluck up the courage to go back in (it's great fun when you get used to it ;D) ask if some of the chatters will come with you to set one up.

Trees

I agree with your Trees.
Do they not make whiskey in Wales ???

Something stronger than tea is required for celebrating St David's Day.
