Oh Annie, it's not that bad  ::)  ;)

You can use colour for your name and in the beginning just follow along the colour to have a conversation till you get more familiar with it.

Thought I would put my tupence worth in.  I tried it once and like the others was overwhelmed at first but i started talking to one person and we moved out of the main conversation to have a more one  to one conversation and I found that helpful.  But I must say everyone was very friendly.

You will find with more and more time in the room your typing improves ( mine has ) and if a conversation is going and your asked a question , people will wait and look for your reply, or ask if you heard them.

If you feel comfortable sitting back and watching for a bit, do so, people in the room will be understanding.
