'Am searching for the parents of John McClintock and Margaret Elizabeth Latta' - Hi Lenellie, in my research of this family line the only mention of parents is Alex McClintock. I have found several mentions of Alex[ander] around the Taughboyne parish area but not that i can definately link to John and Eliza. No spouse mentioned.

I have found a marriage certificate for John and Margaret. 1st Presbyterian Church Letterkenny, Conwal Parish.3rd Oct.1878 - John McClintock, full age, Bachelor, Labourer of Cross, Taughboyne Parish, father-Alex McClintock, labourer. Eliza Latta , full age, spinster of Fassetmore, Leck Parish, father- Robert Latta - labourer.John Stevenson & Richard Devenny - witnesses.

I  have another angle - Ok - I need some assistance from the McClintock and Ewing family members and researchers.
Alexander McClintock a farm labourer who was possibly married to a Margaret Porter and maybe from around Letterkenny. His son - John McClintock .bc.1855.Taughboyne Parish.d.?.m.3.10.1878 LetterkennyParish Conwal[marriagecert]1st PresbyterianCh Letterkenny. Margaret Elizabeth'Eliza' Latta. b.before.1857. of Fassetmore [Leck Parish]d.18.11.1930. Carricknamanna.                            [Stranorlar/KillygordonRego-DeathCert] [father-Robert Latta-labourer]. [John, farm labourer 1878-1901 [house 11 Dunwiley]/1911 census][Farm Servant 1885] [Ploughman at death][Farmer/Cartaker-1895][Land Steward 1910] - he had several children including - Margaret Ann McClintock.bc.1888.d.?.m.21.4.1908.PresbyterianCh.Stranorlar [marriage Cert] Alexander Ewing..b.28.10.1871  [1901 census Dunwilley with family] [1911  census with Bro Thomas and siblings] Present at mothers 1930Death] [Alex, labourer 1910-1923]
[Living Upper Cavan 1913-1923]. Looking for these Ewing family and McClintock connections.
