toni, PLEASE don't worry too much about the WELLERs.  The hunt is actually to try to locate Joseph HEARNE's birth/baptism/family in Norfolk about 1790.  

Failing that (and we have so far ... LOL!), he might be listed in a Norfolk trade directory or something to which I've not had access.  Or Thorpe Market or North Repps parish records OTHER than the parish register itself.

The WELLERs are Lucy WELLER's line; she married Joseph HEARNE in 1818.

You referenced for 31.01.1798 A Thomas born to Thomas and Sarah Hurn ?  Can't find him? Is he poss the Thomas and Mary Hurn son?

It would be good if he was Thomas/Sarah son .... but?
