From various places on the web, I have found two listings from the post-1848 Pathhead Feuars directory:
TODD, CATHERINE: relict of late James Beveridge, tailor and clothier, P; 23 Nov 1865 (59 yrs); in Lot 38
TOD, WILLIAM: Sgt pensioner, father-in-law of James Beveridge, tailor, P; Nov 21 1851 (91 yrs)
Could anyone please give me the corresponding listing for James Beveridge, tailor (d 1859)? He is buried in the same plot with his wife, father-in-law William Todd, and daughters Jean (d 1848) and Catherine (d 1849), who both died young. Also, is there any mention of William Tod's wife? I have seen speculation that she might have been Sarah Struthers, but have no confirmation. I cannot find an applicable listing in the pre-1848 directory (which is available on the web).
This cemetery seems like it may hold a lot of family secrets. Some of the children of James and Catherine have middle names of Stoddard, Jamieson, and Christie, all family names found in this same cemetery. I have to wonder if the families are not interrelated...
Thanks for any help!
