Robert & Karon are still on track for attendance in Melbourne.  The only variable remains the pending hip replacement. 

However, being a person who always sees life as "a glass (not half but) 3/4 full", I reckon on being there chatting and laughing with you all on Oct 19.

Hi Margaret,

I'm just back from a trip to Europe which was fantastic but expensive (even got some family history done in Ireland!  )  Am booked in with friends for a French immersion weekend in northern NSW in early November (that's one of my other passions!)  With the crashed sharemarket affecting retirement funds, am still trying to decide if I can afford a trip to Melbourne as well!  Sorry to be so slow deciding, but once I've fought off the jetlag I may be able to make an intelligent decision!    Would love to be there, so we'll see...
