Can you check for any Thorpes in your Hasting memorial inscription transcriptins.  I believe there is at least one.

             James, died Hastings 1832 aged 59

THORPE Harriett, died Halton 1868 aged 72 - Stone No 138
             William, died Halton 1846 aged 60

plus the Guestling, Pett and Ore memorials

Would you have burial transcriptions for  Hove? and if so could you please have a look to see if there is a James Wing and also Rhoda Walters.

Do we have any specific name or time period that we are looking for as I seem to remember that there are a few in the various churchyards in and around Lewes

It would help narrow things down a bit
