I saw Carndonagh in  your message and i thought i would look up your people as i often go to the Library to look at records for myself and others . There are  copies of Births/Marriage  records in Carndonagh Library. I can look up any other family names for you there if you wish.

Hi Mike

I have checked the records in  the Library Carndonagh for Maxwells.  There is none to be found in either Births or Marriages.

In the 1901 Census for House 28 Pound St Carndonagh there is a John Maxwell 55 yrs, Boarder  occ Mason  born Co Antrim
also Minnie Maxwell 28 Boarder born Belfast City
