Hi
I am currently searching the parish registers for Rapho Donegal and am noting all the listings for the name McCaffrey as this is one of my family names, I only go to the lds each Wednesday, but if I come across their names I will let you know

Rosee, Who are you! That was extremely generous of you to take the time to do that. I had Edward, James, Maryenne and Michael before. Michael's date of birth was off abit! I had April 1876, but Ed's and Maryanne's were right on! I am from Michael's line! I have alot on Ed's family as well. Are you related? I hope so! Do you have anything more on Rose and John the parents? I am betting John's father is a John because the oldest son was a John. I am in Rochester NY. Are you from Carndonagh or just visiting? Thank you again for your excellent effort! Bob Conlon

 Hi Bob
I live in Carndonagh. I am not related in any way to your people. I have Doherty's /O'Donnell /McDermott names  in my line but they are from Clonmany  and Culdaff. I saw Carndonagh in  your message and i thought i would look up your people as i often go to the Library to look at records for myself and others . There are  copies of Births/Marriage  records in Carndonagh Library. I can look up any other family names for you there if you wish.

Rose, this again is very nice of you. Could you see if there is more on Rose McCaffrey and John Doherty's families. I also have another Doherty who marries my Michael of the above Rose and John. Michael married a Rose Doherty whose parents were Arthur and Mary Doherty. I don't have Mary's maiden name, but it could be Mooney. They had at least a Rose (my great grandmother), Arthur, Margaret, Patrick, and possibly a Bridget that we know of. They may be from Green Castle, Moville. Thanks in advance for anything you find. I called my cousin immediately after reading your first posting. Bob
