This picture was taken in the late 1940's. Does anyone recognise anyone?

There is only one name for M,Nerlin in Belfast 1949.

Mary M,Nerlin, The Charlotte Confctnry 74-76 Shore Rd, T.N 46761.

             Unfortunately it doesn't help. The only person on the photo that we know is the lady front row right, she is Doreen McNerlin. She is the dau of Daniel Campbell McNerlin bap. 4 Sep 1881 Aghadowey, and Helen Gertrude (Kyte). His father was also Daniel McNerlin and mother Margaret Barr.
             I would guess that the photo depicts decendants from Daniels either brothers or sisters. If you look at entries from Ollie H we are both seeking connections of the same family.

Thanks for your efforts Dixie. But that is the wrong Daniel. Ours was born on 17 Jun 1881. He was baptised on 4 Sep 1881 at Aghadowey. How ever as for the people in the picture we are unsure as to where the picture was taken. We just live in hope someone may recognise one of them. The young girl front right is the wife's mother when she went over for a visit, but she passed away in 1997. We haven't been able to establish there where abouts from her belongings. Both Barr and McNerlin are names that are very frequent around Londonderry city and out to Limavady and certainly the McNerlin name seems only to appear in Londonderry records. Perhaps your family moved from there to Aghadowey area.

Also if you search rootschat for "mcnerlin" you will find other posts regarding McNerlin families.
