Allenstown, Mountain Ash
« on: Saturday 23 February 08 18:30 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

When looking at a modern map of Mountain Ash, can anyone explain to me where the area described as "Allenstown" in older documents is located?  I have ancestors who were staying in Allenstown at the time of the 1861 census whilst working at one of the local mines and am trying to figure out where they were living.

Regards

Gareth.
